For the second year in a row iSmartStudent had its frontline team members set up a display table and speak with parents about the benefits of online education and unique tutoring to supplement in classroom education. The conference was conducted by Parents Engaged in Education (PEIE), an organization focused on providing resources to school councils across the province of Ontario. There were 10 presentations by educational experts to inspire parents and school councils to dream big for their child and their school. It took place at Bill Crothers Secondary School in Markham.
The day was very successful, with many Parents and Parent Council members visiting the iSmartStudent booth and parents requesting an online presentation of our eLearning and Learning Management System. In addition, few Parent Council chairs requested information on our School system software solutions, where normally a two-three month pilot program is conducted for 10 – 20 students in the school at no charge to demonstrate progress for the students leveraging the world-class capabilities of the software solution.

Parents Engaged in Education was formed by committed parent leaders, teachers and principal who are focused on providing resources to school councils across the province of Ontario. PEIE also explores new ways to engage parents and excite them about becoming involved in their children’s education.
