We also record phone calls between Parents and Customer Service/Sales for compliance, training and quality assurance purposes. We do not record phone calls between the Tutors and Children[Minors].

• To send periodic emails (The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.).

How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety [privacy] of your personal information by using a secure server. All personal i.e. credit card information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and stored in a secured database. We do not retain any of your private information on our servers (e.g. credit card, social security/insurance numbers, financials, etc.) following a transaction.
How can I edit, correct or delete my personal information?
You may edit your account information at any time by contacting iSmartStudent Monday – Friday, between the hours of 10:30 am – 7:30 pm EST [OR 24-hours a day, 7 days a week via email]. We recommend that you review your personal information periodically to ensure that it is accurate, complete, and current. Residual information may remain within our archive records.
Do we use cookies?

We are in compliance with the requirements of PIPEDA and are taking all necessary measures to disclose what information we collect, what we use it for, and how we store and protect it. Due to the nature of our business and the fact that children interact with our tutors by phone, we do not record any phone calls between children and the tutors. Additionally, to properly administer the tutoring program, we store a child’s personal information that is required only in accordance with guidelines set by the Privacy Commissioner of Canadaand not disclose, sell, trade or otherwise transfer any of said information to any third party entity for any reason unless required by law.

We take every measure possible to be compliant with CASL and all the regulations within it. By submitting an inquiry on our website, you are provided an option to opt-in to receiving promotional communications from iSmartStudent. You will have the option to unsubscribe from these communications at anytime by following the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any promotional email received. When you are registered for the iSmartStudent tutoring program, you are providing implied consent to receive promotional communications from iSmartStudent. This consent can be withdrawn at anytime in by following the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any promotional email. We also acknowledge that any promotional information sent by iSmartStudent is easy to identify and all information sent is 100% accurate.
